What is special about Wincle School?

The small number of total children in the school means that the children are confident in each others’ company.

My daughter has needed extra literacy support – I think this has possibly been started earlier than would have been in a larger school.  We have a happy child who is secure in her school, and she is very proud of attending Wincle School.

The equivalent of a private education where class sizes are concerned.  Brilliant leadership and fantastic teachers.

Small class sizes, caring staff, consistent but fair discipline, a very happy atmosphere, excellent moral values, fantastic and healthy school dinners, exciting school trips and activities etc. etc.

Wincle is a small school and therefore offers good teacher pupil ratio and has the flexibility to develop children at their own pace.  There is excellent integration between school (teachers, pupils, governors, church, parents and the community).

We felt that, due to its size, it provided a less intimidating environment than the other schools we looked at.

We immediately noticed the dedication of the staff.  Great facilities.  Small numbers/individual support. My daughter is able to develop at her own pace as all Reception/KS1 and 2 work together.  Children appeared content and happy.

We were looking for a small friendly school.

Because our son was being bullied and we decided to move him to a smaller school.

Wincle offered an improved teacher pupil ratio and an environment where teachers are better able to address the individual social and educational needs of our children.

The creative use of the small space available provides a stimulating environment.

My daughter says she likes Wincle school because: “It has lovely teachers and I have some lovely friends.  We have a lovely playground and lovely dinners!”.

Nice friends, caring environment.  Calm and orderly environment.

He feels safe in the caring environment.  His anxieties were taken seriously and he has been helped, by staff at Wincle, to deal with them.  There is always something to look forward to here.

Our children are much happier at Wincle.  They have good relationships with all staff and pupils.  The school has a good team spirit and provided excellent all round development.
